 | 3. Blockbuster Movies Always a sure hit with costume choices, this year’s blockbuster movies offer a panacea of choice. With the final sequel of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows we are sure to see Hogwarts out in full force this fall. Green Hornet and Captain America are the latest in the super heroes that have turned comic book icons into a big screen hit.  | 4. Sexy, Sexy, Sexy Halloween is the perfect time to show your inner vamp, and there are plenty of sexy costumes to accent the your inner “naughty”. The list of sexy possibilities are countless, ranging from super heroines like V for Vendetta and CatWoman, to sexy uniforms such as nurses, maids, policewomen, and airline captains; there is little girl sexy, Playboy sexy and everything in-between.  | 5. X-rated Everyone loves a good gag and X-rated costumes are increasingly popular with those who want to shock and who have the nerves to pull it off. Prepare for attention if you wear What’s under the Kilt (a Scotsman) or the Fire Extinguisher (a Firefighter), A Knight to Remember, or Toss the Ring, all of which are amply endowed.  | 7. Lady Gaga Rock Stars and Performers are trendy Halloween costume picks. No one is more visible and current than Lady Gaga. With her over the top fashion statements, her wardrobe is as striking as her music and the style choices are endless.  | 9. Political Satire Ok, this has been quite the year: the death of Osama bin Laden, Muammar Gaddafi with his outrageous threats and even more outrageous wardrobe, gun toting Sarah Palin skirting around and running for president. Prediction:,expect to see news headliners show up at Halloween. |
 | 10. Novelty Costumes Everyone is looking for something different and Novelty Costumes are a hit. You can go to your masquerade dressed as food: a Pea Pod, Banana Costume, or Hotdog. If you like animals, consider being an Abominable Snowman (perhaps complete with the ranger and girls) or a Gorilla in a tutu or grass skirt.
