The government has not officially mention the number of Internet users in the country, currently estimated to users already reached about 20 percent of the population in Indonesia, or about 30 to 31 million people.
This figure, according to Enda Nasution, a senior blogger homeland, would continue to grow rapidly. "In the year 2012, internet users in Indonesia could touch 100 million users," said Enda, on the sidelines of Politics and Business Seminar on New Media in Jakarta, August 4, 2010.

"Moreover, if supported by a healthy ecosystem," said Enda. "Ecosystems are here, including from the government (regulator), providers including ISPs and mobile operators, and users themselves," he said.
This possibility, according to Enda, not to be avoided. "With the spread of Internet use, Indonesia will be viewed as an advanced country and open the world," he said.
